Regular Season Round 10: Strakonice - Olomouc 74-54

There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Strakonice (5-15) outscored at home higher ranked Olomouc (11-9) 74-54 on Saturday. Strakonice held Olomouc to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Olomouc 50-33 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Alena Jenistova (182-1986) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Michaela Janska (161-2003) chipped in 9 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Zuzana Krizova (181-2004) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Anna Jedlickova (163-2004) scored 17 points. Strakonice maintains eleventh position with 5-15 record. Olomouc lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Brno B. Strakonice will meet bottom-ranked Jablonec (#12) on the road in the next round. Olomouc will play against Benesov (#10) and hope to secure a win.
